Terms & Conditions
Fundraising FastTrack On-Demand
Effective Date: Date of Payment or Trial Enrollment
This Agreement ("Agreement") is made between the individual or entity enrolling in the Program ("you", "your", "Client") and The Cause Specialists Inc. ("we", "us", "our", "The Cause Specialists Inc."). By enrolling, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Program Deliverables & Access
You will receive one (1) year of access to the Fundraising FastTrack online training portal, including core video lessons, templates, worksheets, scripts, and AI resources, beginning on your Effective Date and subject to the continued operation of the Program.
2. Payment Terms
a) You agree to pay the full Program fee through one of the available payment options.
b) If you select a payment plan, you authorize recurring charges until the balance is paid in full. Selecting a payment plan does not reduce your total obligation. If you discontinue participation for any reason, all remaining scheduled payments remain due and will continue to be charged.
c) Failed payments may be retried up to five times. You agree to provide updated payment details if a card expires or fails.
d) Missed or failed payments do not cancel this Agreement. You remain responsible for the full Program fee.
e) We reserve the right to suspend Program access if payment remains outstanding.
f) You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting us in writing at [email protected] to attempt resolution. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate termination of Program access and forfeiture of any applicable refund eligibility.
3. Free Trial, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
Free Trial
If you enroll through a 7-day free trial, you will receive immediate access to the Program upon registration. You may cancel at any time during the trial period by submitting written notice to [email protected]. Cancellation must be received before 11:59 PM Mountain Time on Day 7 of your trial. If cancellation is received within the trial period, no charge will occur.
If cancellation is not received before the trial period ends, your payment method will be charged automatically and the terms below apply.
Post-Payment Refund Window
After payment has been processed, you may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of the charge date. A 50% refund of the Program fee will be issued. The remaining 50% is retained due to your immediate access to digital training materials, coaching sessions, and community resources, which are delivered and consumed from the moment of enrollment.
To request a refund within this window, email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your name, enrollment date, and reason for the request.
No Refunds After 7 Days
No refunds will be issued beyond fourteen (14) days from the Effective Date, regardless of participation level, progress, or circumstances. After this point, the Program fee is non-refundable and all remaining payment plan installments remain due.
Note on trial timing: If you enroll through a free trial, your Effective Date is Day 1 of the trial. Your charge date is Day 8. Your 7-day post-payment refund window therefore closes on Day 14 from your Effective Date. No refunds will be issued after Day 14 under any circumstances.
You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to cancel within the trial window if you do not wish to continue, and to submit any refund request within the post-payment window if applicable.
4. No Performance Guarantee
The 90 Day Fundraising FastTrack Foundations does not include a performance-based or results-based guarantee.
While our methodology has helped many organizations raise funds, we make no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding specific financial outcomes, revenue increases, or fundraising results.
You acknowledge that:
- Results depend on your implementation, effort, market conditions, donor relationships, and organizational readiness
- Participation in coaching or community discussions does not guarantee outcomes
- You are solely responsible for executing the strategies provided
5. Representations & Warranties
You acknowledge that:
- Enrollment is voluntary and you have not been pressured or coerced into making this decision
- You have had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice if desired
- Our materials and services are advisory and educational in nature
- You are responsible for implementation and outcomes
If enrolling on behalf of an organization, the individual completing registration irrevocably guarantees all obligations under this Agreement on behalf of that organization.
6. Intellectual Property
All Program materials are the property of The Cause Specialists Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or resell Program materials without prior written permission from The Cause Specialists Inc.
Program access is granted solely to the individual or organization that purchases the Program. Access is non-transferable and may not be shared, sold, or assigned to any other person or organization without our prior written permission.
We may record live sessions. By participating, you consent to the potential use of your contributions in anonymized or aggregate form for educational or promotional purposes. You may withdraw this permission at any time by contacting us in writing, and we will honour that request going forward.
7. Confidentiality and Client Information
During the Program, you may choose to share information about your organization, including donor prospects, campaign materials, financial data, or internal documents, for the purpose of receiving coaching or community feedback.
The Cause Specialists Inc. will treat such information as confidential and will not:
- Share, sell, or distribute your organizational or donor information to any third party
- Use your donor or prospect information for our own fundraising or marketing purposes
- Retain copies of sensitive organizational records beyond what is required for Program delivery
We may reference general results or anonymized examples for educational or promotional purposes, provided no identifying information is disclosed without your written consent.
We encourage you to remove personal donor contact details from any documents shared within the community or for feedback purposes wherever possible.
8. Program Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a positive, productive, and respectful environment for everyone in the Program. Conduct that negatively impacts the experience of other participants, our team, or the integrity of the Program may result in removal. Examples of conduct that may result in removal include: harassment or disrespectful communication directed at other participants or staff, sharing Program materials with individuals outside the Program, and deliberate disruption of group sessions or community spaces.
Removal is a last resort and will only be used when necessary to protect the learning environment. If removal occurs, your payment obligation remains in full, as removal is based on conduct rather than service delivery.
We reserve the right to update or improve Program content, delivery format, or resources at any time to maintain quality and relevance.
9. Use of Data
We may collect and analyze data related to Program usage and performance for the purpose of improving the Program and our services. Any public disclosure of such data will be in aggregate or de-identified form only and will not identify individual clients or organizations without written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Cause Specialists Inc. and its officers, affiliates, representatives, contractors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or special damages arising out of or related to your participation in the Program.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Program in the 12 months prior to the act giving rise to the claim. The Program is provided as is.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws in force in the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
Clients located in the United States are advised that certain state consumer protection laws may apply regardless of this governing law clause. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction. If you have questions about how this may apply to you, we encourage you to seek independent legal advice before enrolling.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the Program and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
